he wanted to talk to the young ones in the congregation.

the main theme of the talk had to do with avoiding higher education.

basically the main idea was this: witnesses are losing alot of young people here in the last few years.

Tuition's not cheap there either.. wonder where he got the money... Us r&f can't afford that...

Gonna Be Authentic to My Witness Relatives - Send Pictures - Hell With It

i've decided i'm gonna let the chips fall where they may.

i feel it's part of my growth here on jwd and how some of you have taught me to stand up , and be authentic towards my relatives !

don't worry, i'm not losing my mind - but since some of my witness relatives accept my wife and i since our marriage ( my parents) , yet a couple of my siblings waffle somewhat anyway ( my older ex-bethel brother and ex-gilead sister ) and are sitting on the fence towards me as a fader - i figured i'd just send pictures of my wife and my wedding to them, my parents, and my nieces and nephews as well !

this is what darth frosty was talking about in his post the other day (http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/149460/1.ashx).

this is a collection of confidential letters from the watchtower society that were sent to the bodies of elders in the years 1981 through 2006. these are the letters that you were never meant to see or read.. there's all sorts of information in them ranging from the boring and mundian to instructions about how to handle child molesters.. many thanks to darth frosty and others (who i'm not sure can be named) who worked very hard and took risks to collect and scan the information.

A New Scholar has just entered the Building

our new resident scholar, rev1212 informs the board that.... the year 1914, which is the year that the gentile times (aka appointed times of the nations) ended, was determined though a study of the bible along with no doubt some holy spirit given to the brothers that were able to discern this information.. there are quite a few scriptures involved in coming to the year 1914, one of them from ezekiel about "lifting off the crown and it will be no one's until he who has the legal right comes".

so that is the starting point, which was 607 bc, when jerusalem fell to babylon.

then another significant scripture is from daniel chapter 4 which showed the appointed times of the nations would be "seven times".

I'm almost finished reading "The Gentile Times Reconsidered"

This wasn't holy spirit... everone was pointing to different years... and nome of the 7 predictions that Russell made about 1914 came true, so they had to re-invent it to mean the Kingdom.

Rev1212... if you are sincere... please investigate. (Hints: How do you know Luke 21 is related to Dan Ch. 4? How do you know Dan Ch 4 is talking about the enthronement of Christ if its about Nebucadnezzar? And finally, what proof is there that Jerusalem was destroyed in 607BCE).

Once you address these points, please post.
